25 july 2025: v1.14 released: Now we have Towns!

Looks like this is the fastest release in TrappedTogether history! Only 5 days since the last update.

It just happened that I had some free time and a bunch of important changes ready to go.

... If only I had been working on this game full-time over the past (almost) 3 years instead of just chipping away at it during evenings… I have so many ideas for turning this into a true post-apocalyptic survival game — with item crafting, resource gathering, and rediscovering forgotten methods and tech from the past (when modern machines no longer work, spare parts are gone, and no one remembers how to fix them anymore)

.. dreams, dreams...

What’s new:

LuckyPoints fix – They didn’t show up if you went back to the main menu and reloaded the game. Yep… that’s part of the future monetization idea, which might actually help me keep working on the game (right now I’m just spending my own time and money).

No more levels! Now it's all about towns. You can move forward and back between them. That opens the door for making each city unique — maybe a special resource, a shop, a character… So to survive, you'll need to run back and forth between neighboring cities while fending off zombies.

Going from one apocalipse town to the next one

What’s next:

I’ve written a lot about what I want to add to the game… but there’s just never enough time.

And I really need your input — an outside perspective! I’d be super grateful if you left a comment about what you think the game needs most to make it more fun.

I’m even thinking about adding an in-game poll that shows up after reaching a certain score — and as a reward, you’d get LuckyPoints!
