August 28, 2025 People Aren’t Using the Inventory!!!

I recently added analytics — gameplay events are now sent to the server, and I can view them as charts.  In the latest version of the game, as you know, the inventory was introduced. Now, when players collect berries or canned food, the items go into the inventory, and they can eat them later at a convenient time.

But guess what — nobody eats them!!! Players just add items to the inventory, but they don’t even open it!

As a result, things actually got worse: before, players at least restored health somehow. Now, they either wait for health to regenerate on its own, or move on to the next town to restore it that way. Or… they just close the game in frustration.

I’m urgently trying to make the inventory system more understandable. Probably I need to show a message when items are added to the inventory, and also make the inventory button itself more obvious.
