Version v1.12 Released
What’s New
The world map is here! Instead of progressing through isolated levels, players now travel between cities in a connected world – adding a new layer of immersion to the zombie apocalypse experience.
Introducing Lucky Points – our upcoming in-game currency. At this stage, new players start with 5 Lucky Points, which can be spent (but not yet earned).
Monetization Is Coming (Don’t Worry, We Get It)
Let’s be honest – when a game mentions “monetization,” players often brace for the worst: pop-up ads, paywalls, and the feeling that the gameplay is secondary to the business model.
We get that. We’re gamers too – and we’re building Trapped Together with care. This is a co-op zombie survival game where fun comes first, and we’re doing everything we can to avoid aggressive monetization.
But some monetization is necessary. This Android game has been in development for nearly three years. We’ve invested a lot – time, money, passion – and up to now, it’s been entirely free.We hope the paid features we’re planning will be optional, non-intrusive, and ultimately help the project grow – like enabling us to hire external programmers or spend more on art and design.
What’s Next
- Backtracking between cities. As we shift away from linear levels and move toward a living world of distinct locations, each city will eventually offer a unique resource – something worth venturing out for in the apocalypse. These resources are coming soon.
- Character skill progression. You’ve been earning XP – now it’s almost time to use it. Soon, you’ll be able to upgrade your character’s abilities and refine your survival style.
